Thor Tummers, Unilever

Thor Tummers represents Unilever externally, focusing on the circular economy and innovation policy. He engages with governments, trade and industry associations, policymakers, societal organizations, knowledge institutes and business sectors to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy for packaging. He serves as an advisor to the senior management of Unilever in external activities with a focus on stakeholder management, government affairs, advocacy and corporate issue management, and the development of public-private partnerships (PPPs) to drive the necessary transitions. His external roles include the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers (VNO-NCW), the Dutch Food & Drink Federation (FNLI) and the Dutch Sustainable Growth Coalition (DSGC). At the EU level, he strives to accelerate the transition towards a circular economy through the Flexible Packaging Initiative, among others.
