Oliwia Guziel was born in Ruda Śląska (in Silesia in southeastern Poland). She graduated from the international business program of the faculty of management of the University of Economics in Katowice. In 2016 she joined Decathlon as a department manager in the regional distribution center located in Gliwice, Poland. For the next 3 years, she gained experience in managing a warehouse team and optimizing inbound and outbound logistics processes like inventory management, storage, order fulfilment, dispatch, e-commerce activity or management of returns. In 2018 she became the manager of an e-commerce fulfilment platform delivering online orders to customers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2020 she moved to the Czech Republic to head e-commerce logistics strategy and after-sales customer experience. During the last 3 years, in cooperation with a cross-functional team of logistics experts and customer-service specialists, she built a project aimed at improving customer experience with last-mile delivery.
