Zdeněk Suchitra, Smurfit Kappa

Zdeněk Suchitra graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague. He completed his economic education with an MBA in finance and marketing from De Paul University in Chicago. He started his career in FCMG at Unilever. Here he gained his first experience with corporate life and people management. He worked mainly in positions in logistics and purchasing for the home care and food divisions. After five years, he was lured by suppliers to do business in paper packaging. He has been in this business for 19 years, and the speed and diversity of this industry still fulfills him to this day.
