Petr Šimek is the founder and Managing Director of WELLEN, a retail-branding agency based in Prague. For over 16 years, Petr and his team have developed in-store communication, environments, and experiences for clients such as Vodafone and Nike. Petr is passionate about retail and spends much of his time traveling the globe in search of the latest trends and innovative retail concepts. He believes that the best retail brands are those that make customers “fall in love” with stores.
In addition to running his own agency, Petr is the vice president of POPAI CE and is a member of the SHOP! Global and Creative Councils. He is also a juror for the IMC European Awards, author of the WELLEN retail blog, and a regular speaker at industry events. He recently published his first book, “Retail letem světem”, and is a Ph.D. student at the Prague School of Economics.
