Petr Šikýř, EKO-KOM

Petr Šikýř has been dealing with environmental issues since his student years, and for the last 25 years he has been an important part of the team of the Authorized Packaging Company EKO-KOM. Their goal is to use and recycle packaging waste in ways that are environmentally friendly and economically sustainable in the long run. Petr is the operations director of EKO-KOM and from his position he has an overview of how packaging waste recycling works in practice, what its economy is like, and how the Czech Republic will have to prepare for the challenges of the circular economy (CEP).
