Petr Balner, Recycling and Waste Competence Center

Petr is a long-standing expert in waste management and strategic planning. For 23 years, he has been involved in the development and establishment of EPR in the Czech Republic and has devoted a significant part of his career to the development of a sorting system and cooperation with municipalities, waste collection companies, and the recycling sector. He was also a member of the Waste Management Council of the Czech Republic, a member of the expert commission for innovative and demonstration projects at the State Environmental Fund, and a member of the technical working group of the international organizations PRO EUROPE and EXPRA.
