Matěj Gala, Plzeňský Prazdroj

Ing. Matěj Gala graduated from VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – Department of Robotics in 2014. There he also worked as a teaching assistant for CAD systems and in service robotics research. He started the transition from academia to practice in 2016 as a rolling stock designer at Škoda Vagonka, then worked as a robot programmer at Novogear for 3 years, and since 2020 he has been a member of the production technical development team at Plzeňský Prazdroj as the manufacturing automation manager CZ&SK. In this position, he mainly deals with capital and innovative projects with elements of robotization and A&D, especially for the bottling plant department. For him, the current job represents an opportunity to apply his creativity and planning, technical enthusiasm and work with great Prazdroj colleagues or external partners. He is happy when he raises the technical level of production by implementing defended projects. He is an advocate of automation that makes comprehensive sense. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, sports, music, playing the piano and friends, with whom he likes to discuss things over a pint of Pilsner lager.
