Martina Michalcová, Lidl

Martina studied Financial and Information Management at the University of Hradec Králové. She joined Lidl in 2016 as a trainee for the position of Regional Manager, which she actively held from 2018. Between 2022 and 2024, she worked in Germany, where she gained further experience in international retail under the parent company. After returning to the Czech Republic, she became part of the purchasing team, where she is responsible for the cosmetics, drugstore, and selected packaging materials assortment. One of the projects Martina is currently working on is the development and procurement of sustainable paper bags made from Czech PEFC-certified forests. This project combines her purchasing expertise with a strong focus on sustainability, local cooperation, and responsible use of natural resources.
