Lukáš Formánek graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague with a Master’s degree in electronics. During his studies, he participated in the Cubesat Project at Aalborg University in Denmark and developed passive cooled systems for LMS Instruments in the Netherlands in the framework of his Master’s thesis. He holds an MBA degree from Nottingham Trent University.
During his career, he has spent more than 15 years in the automotive and heating industries, mainly in engineering and management positions. In his current capacity as technical director at DZ Dražice, a leading company on Czech water-heater market and a member of the Swedish group Nibe, he is in charge of products, process development and strategic planning. He is in the editorial board of the magazine Úspěch and a member of the commercial board of the Technical University in Liberec. During his whole professional life, he has supported Czech technical education, and he has cooperated on many common projects.
