Ladislav Hurdálek

Ladislav Hurdálek has been in the world of packaging for 20 years. The desire to change established, practical production experience, knowledge of packaging technologies and materials science led him to the innovation and research center of the Tetra Pak company for 10 years. Here, in the Future Packaging Concepts department, he shaped the future of packaging materials and technologies in the Liquid Food segment. He participated in the research of completely new materials, the digitalization process of packaging, front-end innovations and printable smart-packaging technologies. Finally, he devoted himself to research on the sustainability of packaging solutions and the recyclability of packaging for FMCG, which he continues to do today. He is the co-author of several patents. After returning to the Czech Republic, he has been engaged in consulting activities in the field of packaging strategy for the past 11 months. He helps international and domestic companies find the most optimal material solutions for their products and continues to support the development of a number of new packaging materials as an external technology expert.
