Aleš Valenta is a former acrobatic skier and Olympic champion in acrobatic ski jumping (he was the first person in the world to jump a triple somersault with five screws). He competed three times at the Winter Olympic Games and reached the podium of the World Cup twelve times (winning three of them). Now, he ranks among the most popular moderators, he had his own talk show, and he built and still operates the Acrobat Park sports complex in Štíty. He has his own creed that expresses his ambition and tenacity: “Why would I walk the beaten path when I can tread a new one myself?” At the same time, he is a humble person who knows that not every victory translates to success and that you must sacrifice a lot to be successful in your profession. In other words, and in the language of surfers, to stay on top of the wave, on top of the highest wave.
